00:00I just, I just feel I have to do at least this one song which explains why this
00:09whole concert was originally called Pure Energy One last time.
00:15Gusto ko lang i-clarify na hindi ako mag-re-retire.
00:21Hindi, hindi. May hindi mangyayari mo.
00:26But there's a reason why I called it One Last Time.
00:31And I'm glad that I get to do it now kasi dun sa isang concert, it was the last song.
00:37So habang ine-explain ko yung mga iba ko maalis na.
00:40But since you're all here, can I explain why?
00:44Why it was called One Last Time and why it's now called One More Time.
00:49Basically a repeat of the last time.
00:53Um, yeah, let's do this.
00:57Stay with me on this.
00:59Now let me take you back to November 14 and 15 of 2008.
01:04I was celebrating my 25th anniversary here at the Araneta and the problem was
01:09wala akong boses nun for both nights.
01:13That on the morning of the second show, November 15,
01:17I had to wake Angeli up and with barely any voice to speak, I said,
01:22Ani, you have to pray for me. I have no voice left.
01:28And all I remember dun sa prayer niya were the first few words because
01:33that's when it began.
01:36Her voice started to fade away into the background but only to usher in
01:41this vision.
01:43Now, a God-given vision is usually meant to symbolize something in the future
01:48that is going to take place.
01:51Well, friends, that future is now.
01:55So, in this vision, I saw myself walking at night toward the direction
02:00of the horizon and I also knew that I wasn't walking alone
02:04kasi there was this bright source of light on the corner of my eye
02:08that enveloped me in so much peace.
02:12The kind that transcended all my understanding, that it was undoubtedly
02:17the God that you have often heard me speak about.
02:22And after walking with Him for a bit, I stopped in my tracks.
02:27Then I heard Him say,
02:30It's okay, Gary. It's okay to stop and look back.
02:34And so I did look back and you know what I saw?
02:37Like playing suspended up in the air?
02:40It was the concert the night before, yung November 14.
02:44Then I looked back at the horizon that now looked like a new day had begun.
02:50And I started walking again.
02:53Then again I stopped.
02:55And again I heard Him say,
02:57Gary, it's okay to stop.
03:00You can stop and look back.
03:02But now when you do, I want you to take your time.
03:07And so I did look back.
03:10And this time what I saw was the concert the night before
03:14and every other concert I had done
03:17from the beginning of my then 25-year-old career.
03:22And when I stood there, amazed at the sight,
03:25I heard His tender voice once more saying,
03:29It was fun, no?
03:33And with tears welling up in my eyes, I nodded and whispered my answer,
03:38Yeah, it was.
03:40And you know, He can actually hear my heart right now saying,
03:45And I'm gonna miss this Lord, all of this.
03:49But then He said, There's more.
03:52But it's that way, pointing toward the horizon.
03:56But the horizon was empty and there was nothing in it.
04:00And part of my mind was saying, But there's nothing there, Lord.
04:05My heart, however, knew that He who knows what's out there,
04:10He was standing right here beside me.
04:13And He had no intention of ever leaving me.
04:17And then He said,
04:19It may not be as grand, Gary, but it will be fulfilling.
04:24Maybe even more fulfilling than the past.
04:29He then folded His arms, leaned forward, and then asked me,
04:33So, you wanna go?
04:36And I just nodded and started walking that horizon with Him once more.
04:43Friends, doing things like this has never been easy.
04:48I want more now, in this season of my 60th year of life.
04:54It's tiring.
04:56But, there is a calling, a leading,
05:01that is energizing me to go deeper into the spirit of uplifting,
05:05encouraging, and inspiring many more now than ever before.
05:10And for as long as this heart beats,
05:13that is what I will do.
05:17I've given you my all,
05:20as I've consistently tried to do so in every performance I've given you in the past.
05:26All meant to move you right here.
05:30And this is how I wish I'd be remembered.
05:35I know it sounds like a drama, but hey look,
05:38it's the final page of a chapter that's being written here right now.
05:43But it's not the final page of the book.
05:46And me, I'm gonna walk into that great empty horizon
05:50with its challenges and its victories.
05:52With each step taken, it will be taken with energy,
05:56with hope, by faith,
05:59and wholeheartedly trusting Him,
06:02the source of all my pure energy.
