00:00North Luzon Expressway, or NLEX, is now ready for the holiday rush.

00:06In the program Mike Abe Live on PTV, NLEX Assistant Vice President for Traffic Operations, Robin Ignacio said

00:13that they are now deploying more personnel for the expected downpour in Metro Manila starting later this afternoon.

00:22They also have free towing for motorists who will cross the road.

00:26It is also possible for them to carry out a counter-flow if the road is heavy.

00:31Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard has implemented a heightened alert status

00:36to ensure the safety of passengers in the area.

00:40The Passenger Assistance Center has also been activated.

00:45It is still better, sir, that our passengers, our countrymen, are prepared.

00:50They will check the condition of their vehicles

00:53so that they will not be affected by the downpour on our roads.
