00:00The Department of Transportation has been preparing for the increase of passengers this holiday season for a long time.

00:05In the program Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, Transportation Executive Assistant to the Secretary Jonathan G. Esmundo said

00:12that they are expecting 3 million passengers in PITX while 4 million in pier or seaports until the first two weeks of January of the next year.

00:22And 5,000 TNVS slots were opened by the Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board for those who want to enjoy ride-hailing.

00:31The operation of LRT and MRT will be one hour earlier compared to its regular hours.

00:37And their extension will be one hour.

00:39Even the airport was promised to be targeted by the government.

00:43At the same time, Mr. Esmundo has a reminder to the public, particularly to motorists.

00:49Our private vehicles, let's leave them and use public transport.
