00:00Bureau of Immigration will apprehend foreign nationals who failed to downgrade their 9g visa

00:05and did not leave the country starting January 2025. These are foreigners who used to work for

00:11Philippine offshore gaming operators or pogo companies in the Philippines and continue to

00:15refuse to leave despite the total pogo ban. They will automatically be blacklisted and

00:21deported by next month according to BI Commissioner Joe Alveado. According to BI records no less than

00:271,000 foreigners have not yet downgraded their visas.

00:32Beyond December 31st, if they did not downgrade their visas and went to our office to leave,

00:40they will be blacklisted and subject to deportation proceedings.
