00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the safety of Medellin Veloso as she remains

00:05under the custody of the government after she was safely returned to the country.

00:09The chief executive says law enforcement agencies are tasked to ensure Veloso's security while

00:14she continues to serve her sentence under Philippine custody.

00:18The Marcos administration is elated with this development, especially for Veloso who was

00:22incarcerated in Indonesia for more than a decade, which according to the leader of the

00:27land, is resounding proof of the good relations between the two nations.

00:32Once again, the president thanked the Indonesian government as well as those who were instrumental

00:38in making Veloso's homecoming possible.
