Sekitar 80% pasokan susu Indonesia dipenuhi dari impor. Nilai impor susu hingga November 2024 mencapai USD803,4 juta  atau sekitar Rp12,85 triliun. Selandia Baru menjadi negara impor tertinggi dengan persentase 53,28%.
