00:00I think today is a really special day because I am the first brand ambassador of Godrej
00:11Professional and what makes it really special is that I think the brand ethos really resonates
00:18with me. I really think that I am really proud to associate with a brand which has such a
00:26rich and trustworthy legacy.
00:33I think that hair colour and the way you feel about your hair, I think it's a really important
00:39role whether you're an actor or not. But especially if you're an actor, I think that it brings
00:43so much confidence when you are on screen portraying a character or if you're walking
00:48the ramp or if you're walking the red carpet. I think it just kind of boosts your confidence
00:53a lot. And I think that it also, and I would say that even in everybody's personal life,
00:58I think it really makes you feel confident.
01:07My personal favourite hair colour from the 2025 collection, I really love their browns
01:14and I really love the reds as well. So I think that they have a, I mean they have lovely
01:21colours, but I think there is a moffy, like a moffy Marvel colour, which I really like.
01:32Similarities that I find in fashion and styling. I think that, I think fashion and styling
01:38both are a representation of yourself. And I think that it's a way of expressing yourself.
01:44So I feel it's really important to, basically it adds on to your personality. It really
01:50is the first thing that impresses people even before you speak. So I think that it's a,
01:55it really is an extension of you.
01:59I'm very, very grateful. Alpha is a film where I get to play, of course, the youngest
02:07spy in the Spy Universe franchise of Yash Raj Films. And to be able to perform alongside
02:13Alia Bhatt is a dream come true. And I think that I'm, it's just fingers crossed and waiting
02:19for Christmas next year.
02:26I'm learning every day when it comes to action. I think that as a newcomer in the industry,
02:32I think you're always learning every day on set, no matter whether you're doing an action
02:35film or a comedy film. And I find myself to just be a student.
02:45The behind the scenes experience has really nurtured me. It really is who I am today.
02:50I learned everything about films when I was an assistant director. For someone who does
02:57not have a film family, I never got an opportunity to be on a film set other than as an assistant
03:01director. So for me, the world really opened up when I got the job as an assistant director.
03:07And I started learning every day from that.
03:14I'm very, very grateful for 2024. I've had three releases and all three of them have
03:20truly been blessed. Munja entered the 100 Crore Club. Maharaj and Veda have been critically
03:26acclaimed. And I think that I'm just finding myself really blessed and lucky by the end
03:33of 2024 that, you know, I've really been waiting for this day where all my work comes out and
03:38people get to watch it, where my family gets to see it. So I think I'm really, really happy
03:43and I'm excited about 2025.
03:50I always like doing something that's out of the box. I don't think I have a rule book.
03:54I like to throw the rule book out of the window. So I want to do something unexpected because
03:58I feel like when the audiences come to watch me in the theatres, I hope that every time
04:02they see me, they feel like, oh, we didn't expect this from Shardini. I think that would
04:05be a great compliment for me.
04:12No, I'm humbly going to celebrate it at my home with my school friends. And I... New
04:19Year resolution is to just work more, more and more.
