00:00Meanwhile, some roads were closed in La Castellana, Negros Occidental as a precaution in the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon.

00:17With the help of La Castellana Municipal Police Station, the roads in Barangay Kabagnaan and Barangay Biak na Bato were closed

00:24as a part of the continuation of the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon.

00:28This action is in accordance with the regulations within the 6-kilometer danger zone to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

00:37The road closure aims to prevent entry to dangerous places and to reduce the risk of a possible volcano eruption.

00:45In order to not affect the road traffic, according to Director Raul Fernandez, Regional Director of Civil Defense Western Visayas,

00:53it is possible to pass through Moises Padilla-Mulacan-Laon City in Negros Oriental towards La Castellana in Negros Occidental.

01:00Border Security Control was placed in the barangays of Manzalanaw, Biak na Bato, Masulog, Araal, Robles, and Cubay.

01:09The authorities continue to urge residents and travelers to comply with the regulations and to avoid entering any dangerous places

01:19in order to maintain the safety of everyone.

01:22For now, Negros Volcano remains under Alert Level 3.
