00:00So it's an absolute privilege to open up the Abergavenny police space today, it's a really

00:06fantastic facility that's going to do a lot for a big priority of mine which is making

00:13sure that the people of Gwent have trust and confidence within policing and that we keep

00:18people within Gwent safe and the people of Abergavenny, if we can reduce crime and antisocial

00:23behaviour in these areas that's a really important focus for me moving forward and this facility

00:29gives us a chance to be able to respond really quickly on the road networks to get to calls

00:34when calls are made from members of the public and also to have neighbourhood officers working

00:39from here quickly deployed out into the towns and villages of Abergavenny and the surrounding

00:44area so looking for them to be meeting and speaking to people within the community on

00:49a much more regular basis. Thank you.
