00:00Overseas Filipino worker Mary Jane Veloso will be transferred from Jakarta to the Philippines
00:06early Wednesday morning, December 18.
00:09On Monday, December 16, Veloso was transferred from a prison in Yogyakarta City to a women's
00:14jail in Jakarta.
00:16Veloso's parents and sons canceled a trip to Yogyakarta after learning of the planned
00:20transfer to Indonesia's capital.
00:23Veloso's family says they are very happy because Mary Jane will be coming home.
00:27On November 20, the Philippines announced Indonesia decided to allow Veloso's transfer.
00:33Veloso has been on Indonesia's death row for over a decade after a drug-smuggling arrest
00:37in 2010.
00:38She has always maintained that she was duped into becoming a drug mule.
00:42Veloso also has an ongoing case against her traffickers in Nueva Ecija where she has yet
00:46to testify.
00:48Indonesia has given President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. discretion to pardon Veloso once she is
00:53in a Philippine jail.
