00:00The SRI, or Service Recognition Incentive, was approved by the Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.

00:10The Department of Budget and Management Director, Gerald Handa, said in the program Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon,

00:15that the SRI must be approved by the government as soon as possible,

00:19particularly by teachers, military, and uniformed personnel.

00:23The maximum amount they can receive is up to Php 20,000.

00:30In 2022, only Php 15,000 per qualified teacher received their SRI.

00:40Last year, in 2023, it was Php 18,000.

00:45Now, in 2024, in AO27, the maximum SRI is Php 20,000.

00:54Based on the coordination of the Department of Education, the teachers will receive the SRI.

01:02This is based on the savings of the Department of Education.

01:10They will check their financial statements.
