00:09would they take that leap and take Hunter with that one spot?

00:15I was thinking about that before we went on air tonight.

00:18As talented as he is and as incredible and rare that it's

00:22been to see a two-way player fully justified as the Heisman

00:26Trophy winner, he's not going to be a two-way player on Sundays.

00:30It looks like he's going to be a wide receiver and a wide

00:34receiver only. Would you take a wide receiver number one

00:39overall? Like that's the question that I have. As a college

00:42player, he's unique.

00:44He stands alone.

00:46But as an NFL player, I don't know if I would invest a number

00:49one overall pick on a wide receiver, especially since there

00:53are so many good receivers in this class.

00:55There will be again in 2025 and beyond.

00:58I would look quarterback.

01:00Now, not sure who that guy's going to be, Dubs.

01:03It could be his teammate Shador Sanders from Colorado, could

01:07be Cam Ward.

01:08We could see other candidates that might make their way up.

01:11We're still waiting on NFL early entries into the draft, but

01:16I still would say at this point as good as he is, I don't know

01:20if I would invest a number one overall pick, especially if

01:22you're a team that needs players everywhere.

01:25In Travis Hunter.

01:26So I still would say my money would go on one of the quarterbacks

01:30depending upon what happens in the pre-draft process.

01:33Yeah, I'm right there.

01:34Whether you look at teams like the New York Giants or over

01:37there in Sin City for the Raiders, much better suited in

01:41taking a quarterback with that top spot.

01:43You threw out a couple of names there for who was in the mix

01:47and well done to Travis Hunter and the Colorado Buffaloes.

01:49I wrote them off at the start of the year, but they really

01:52have exceeded all expectations there.

01:54So well done to Coach Priman.

01:56Interested to see what that next step is going to look like.
