This is the moment the Republic of Korea's parliament impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol, two weeks after he declared martial law.
Yoon will now be suspended from presidential duties, with the decision on restoring or removing him from office now in the hands of the Constitutional Court who have 180 days to impose it.
Protesters rallied in Seoul and other cities across the republic in support of the decision, with Yoon vowing to fight on, declaring he will “not give up.”
