"This is what it means": Postcode Lottery winners in Rotherham on how prizes will change their lives

People in Rotherham found out today they were the lucky winners in the People's Postcode Lottery - splitting the competitions biggest ever prize pot of £17.5million.

00:27Everything. I've got a big family, grandkids, and I've never won anything.

00:34And it's just, I can't even put into words what it means to me.

00:38This is just incredible, honestly. The timing is perfect.

00:43Obviously with Christmas coming up, we've got two little boys.

00:46We're just in the middle of a big extension, renovation, building work.

00:52And it's just going to make everything a lot easier.

00:56This money means the world to me. My mum and dad's had ill health this year, as have I.

01:02And then I found out I'm having a baby.

01:04And then we've won this, so it's just life-changing.

01:08Turned everything around, flipped it on its head, and no worries anymore.

01:13Just plain sailing and lovely life from now.

01:17And yourself, mum?

01:22We live together. We do everything together.

01:25Many things racing through your mind at first, but when you're seeing a figure like that, it's in your hands.

01:40Next year we're going to New York, so this will pay for that.

01:44I'd just like a house. Just knowing that there's something in the bank that we've got.

02:07And the fact that things could be sorted a lot quicker and a lot easier is obviously massive.

02:26We work so hard and life is hard, but you just get by and we always got a smile on his face.

02:40My forever, what I've always wanted to go is to go to Hawaii.

03:02Oh, a lot.

03:03I know she'll obviously have a nice holiday with it, so that's obviously a bonus.

03:07And it obviously helps out with all the kids because we've got a big family.

03:11So it does help out with a lot of stuff.

03:14I'm just very happy.

03:15Well, it's all the same things.

03:17It just takes pressure off everything.

03:19I'm in the process of losing my job as well, so it just takes the pressure off everything financially.
