00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. opened Phase 1 of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension,
00:25which is a big help to the travelers in the province.
00:28According to the leadership of the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, or PITX,
00:32it will be easier for passengers to travel because the LRT-1 station is already connected to the terminal.
00:38Because of this, not less than 3 million passengers are expected to use the PITX
00:43from next week until January 6 of the next year.
00:47We have increased our anticipation because the LRT station is already connected to the PITX.
00:56That's why it's more convenient for our countrymen to use the PITX.
01:01That's why we are hoping that this Christmas, because of its convenience,
01:05more people will use it to go to their provinces.
01:08That's why the PITX is already helping the government's agencies
01:13to ensure the safe and comfortable travel of passengers.
01:17The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, or LTFRB,
01:22has approved an application for special permits for additional travel this Christmas.
01:27All of our plans are to ensure the safe and comfortable travel of our countrymen.
01:35The LRT-1 station has already opened the application for special permits
01:38because we are really hoping that more people will use it.
01:41And because the number of passengers in the terminal is starting to decrease,
01:44the security inside the PITX will be tightened.
01:47In fact, the Department of Transportation and the Philippine National Police
01:52are working hard to monitor and enforce the police inside the terminal.
01:56When the PITX is tightened, there will be a random drug test and breath analyzer test
02:01that will be done on the drivers for the safety of the passengers.
