"Vanderpump Rules" star James Kennedy is in trouble with the law ... we've learned the Bravo personality has been arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

00:11But James Kennedy has a much bigger problem now as he was arrested on domestic violence charges

00:17Yeah, so James had actually been with his girlfriend at a party the night this happened

00:22He was at a party prior at Kathy Hilton's house in Bel Air at some point

00:26He went back to his house a night Brendan was it correct Tuesday night

00:30He goes back to his house and he gets into an argument

00:33It seems outside of his house and it appears maybe a neighbor had heard him arguing

00:39With his girlfriend, so someone called police cops showed up

00:43They didn't notice any injuries on the girlfriend, but they did still end up arresting James

00:49So he got taken to jail

00:50He ended up posting later on a $20,000 bond and was released so far

00:55We haven't heard from him. We did reach out, but he's been silent so far on the incident

01:00Yeah, the fact that there were no marks, but they still must have been something in the narrative, right?

01:05Once they interviewed both of them like police and $20,000 seems fairly significant to me for bond as well

01:11It's not a low amount another interesting element of this story is James has an ex-girlfriend
