00:21of Mahathir's decision not to proceed with the applications to review and interpret the
00:252008 ruling by the International Court of Justice on the Rocky Island.
00:30Wan Azizawan, Lok Siu Fook and Mohamad Sabu were the Deputy Prime Minister, Transport
00:34Minister and Defence Minister at the time.
00:37In their joint statement today, they said that as a statesman, Mahathir should take
00:41responsibility for his actions instead of trying to shift the blame.
00:45On Tuesday, Mahathir again denied making a unilateral decision not to proceed with the
00:50applications to review and interpret the ICJ's decision on Batu Puteh, saying that
00:55if the cabinet members disagreed, they could have spoken up.
00:58The Royal Commission of Inquiry on Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks and Southledge previously revealed
01:03that Mahathir had written to the Solicitor General on May 21, 2018, stating that the
01:07ICJ applications need not be continued.
