00:00Energian is an international operator of traditional energies that deals in Italy with the cultivation of mainly natural gas,
00:14which is extracted from the Italian soils through the platforms and is transported to the national network.
00:20Energian has and manages about 15 infrastructures in partnership.
00:25These are the traditional platforms that we all know and have seen in the coasts of Abruzzo, Marche, Adriatico and the Sicilian Canal.
00:32All these platforms, the vast majority, have been installed in the 70s and 80s and will reach the end of life in the next quinquennium.
00:41What Energian wants to consider, given the natural ecosystem that has been created in recent years within these infrastructures,
00:50which lie between 30, 40, 50, 60 meters deep, is to reuse these infrastructures with different and alternative purposes,
01:01compared to the traditional industrial one, in order to give back to the community something that we can all benefit from.
01:10The examples are multiple, which I will present today, from activities of hittic culture, to activities or didactic laboratories for school or academic activities,
01:22and finally to stations or outposts for activities of groundwater inspection and territory preservation.
