00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. rented the new NLEX-Candaba 3rd Viaduct in Bulacan.

00:06The 5-kilometer-long bridge connects Pulilan, Bulacan and Apalit, Pampanga as part of the NLEX.

00:20This is what the new NLEX-Candaba 3rd Viaduct in Bulacan,

00:24which was rented by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:27has a 5-kilometer-long bridge built between the two bridges that connect Pulilan, Bulacan and Apalit, Pampanga.

00:36This is an important addition to the NLEX network

00:38that serves as the primary and vital link between Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon.

00:44According to the executive, this project will serve as a pathway for the economy in Central Luzon,

00:51especially that it will make the journey faster not only for the motorists but also for the services and products.

00:58The 3rd Viaduct enhances the capacity of this expressway,

01:02reduces congestion, ensures faster, more efficient travel.

01:07Standing as a testament to this administration's commitment to the Build Better More program,

01:13this also shows that we are building the foundation to nurture the development of our countryside.

01:19Although the original target for the project to be completed next February,

01:24it is too early for three months, according to the President,

01:27especially now that it is the holiday season and many will return to their provinces.

01:33The President also assured that the project was designed based on the latest engineering innovation

01:37to ensure the safety of the passengers here.

01:40He also confirmed the important role of the private sector

01:44in the construction of projects that will benefit many Filipinos.

01:48Let us build infrastructure projects with future challenges in mind.

01:53Remain focused on pursuing initiatives that uplift lives,

01:57build communities, and most importantly,

02:00meet the needs of the future that we hope to build for our children and their children.

02:06The Chief Executive also ordered the DOTR and Toll Regulatory Board

02:11to implement measures to make the trip to Enlex profitable this Christmas season.

02:16With all this in mind, I call on all concerns,

02:20especially the Toll Regulatory Board and the Enlex Corporation, to remain vigilant.

02:26Let us prioritize with swift responses, mechanisms,

02:29and deploy well-coordinated traffic management strategies

02:33to address the ever-changing conditions and the increasing demands on our toll roads.

02:39The Candaba III via DOT is worth Php 7.8 billion.
