Palestinian drama Happy Holidays wins Golden Star at Marrakech Film Festival

The 21st edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival ended with an emotionally-charged awards ceremony.

00:26touched the members of the game a lot. I was guided only by the emotion, it was

00:31in a very subtle way and it was clear from the first five minutes, we knew

00:35which film we were watching and in what context and in fact we were

00:38won by all this acting game.

00:56It is mainly about relationships within a family and within your society, with

01:25different societies, like the Palestinian society in Israel and the Israelis themselves.

01:31And how education and tradition form our personalities and our behavior, how it makes us blind to

01:40the suffering of others.

01:42The stories in competition at the International Film Festival in Marrakech were all touching,

01:47moving and close to reality. It is the director Skandar Koptik who won the gold star and

01:52who was able to convince the jury with his story of four mixed fates.
