00:00I am grateful to Allah SWT because today, December 8th, the number of flood victims has decreased
00:13by a lot.
00:14Currently, there are approximately 3,000 people in the central area of Sembawang.
00:21However, we hope that the focus that was made by MAC, where the second wave started today
00:31until the 14th of this month, will hopefully be distanced by Allah SWT.
00:36However, our preparedness is still in a state of readiness.
00:46Because of our concern, when the second wave hits countries like Pahang and Johor,
00:57I have had discussions with NADMA and the regional disaster management authorities
01:07so that it will not be easy for us to be prepared for the challenges that will come.
01:17Likewise, in terms of the Beli Bridge, we have prepared and are organizing 32 Beli Bridges
01:31to be placed on the bridges or on the roads that have collapsed or are badly damaged
01:41causing the roads to be cut off.
01:45And so far, we have identified seven locations and five of the Beli Bridges are in the stock of NADMA
01:59while ATM and JKR hold the rest of the stocks.
02:05Cooperation between JKR and the core of the Malaysian Armed Forces is always in a state of readiness
02:13and we are currently carrying out construction by testing the land in certain areas
02:22because the land is quite soft in the areas where there are floods and construction is being carried out.
02:31How many locations are there?
02:35Mostly in Kelantan and Tengganu.
02:38The total cost depends on the completion of the construction of the bridge.
02:46I have asked for the construction to be completed in 72 hours.
02:58I would like to thank the JKR and the core of the Malaysian Armed Forces
03:07who are very proactive in carrying out their responsibilities based on the situation on the roads.
03:17How many bridges have been built so far?
03:19Two locations have been built, one in Lantau Panjang and one in Pasir Mas.
03:29We are studying the situation in Tengganu and we are preparing ourselves to understand the situation.
