00:03So down at Salton's Quay on the Eastern Road in Portsmouth today where we're

00:08officially opening the stretch of the sea defences. Obviously it's been open to

00:12the public generally since September but we also wanted to officially name

00:16Cockleshell Island today, the over-wintering island for roosting

00:21birds which was named by four Portsmouth residents in a competition. So

00:26Cockleshell Island is now officially open as are the sea defences. Please come

00:30down and enjoy a stunning walk that you can have down here now that it's

00:33reopened but also remember that this important work is defending Portsmouth

00:37homes and businesses against sea level rises over the next hundred years.
