00:00I mean, you basically have the number one overall pick in the draft play three

00:03games. Christian McCaffrey rush for just 200 yards on the season. He's on

00:06I. R. 146 receiving yards, 15 receptions. He didn't score a touchdown,

00:10George. We've seen this before. David Johnson comes to mind to me that that's

00:15the most recent name in fantasy where he was the number one. Some drafts. I

00:19think Peterson may have been one or two. I don't remember that year. If you

00:22look, you could tell me, but I know David Johnson was either the one or the

00:26two. He played one game and he got hurt in the second, and he didn't play

00:29the rest of the season. This is exactly who Christian McCaffrey was this

00:33season, but it was the most bizarre because we were told he was going to

00:38play the first week of the season, and he just missed half the year. So oddly

00:43enough, he is the single biggest disappointment, not just this year, but

00:47in the last five or 10 years, without a doubt, and I don't think there's any

00:52scenario George next year where he's a first round draft pick. Don't get me

00:56wrong. He's getting drafted in the second or third round next year, but no

00:59matter how healthy they say he is, I think his days going in the first round

01:03are done.

01:06Oh, I don't know about that. I think he will go number one overall. That's for

01:10sure. But I think there'll be someone who still goes the first round. I think

01:13he will. I won't be me. All right, I'm pretty much done taking running backs

01:17in the first round. They just get hurt too much or whatever. I want to go wide

01:20receiver, especially in today's game. All right, so it's built for the passing

01:23game, but I think somebody still would take him first round because they're

01:27gonna want to running back and, you know, and they're not gonna want to wait

01:30till mid middle, late second round to get it back here. They're like, Oh, I

01:33can't wait that long. I won't get anybody. They'll all be gone. So I think

01:36he might still have a first round shot, assuming everything comes back healthy

01:39from the injury here. That was gruesome, by the way, so that they showed one

01:43camera angle. It looks like his whole calf shriveled up on that play. So that

01:47was just a little, uh, really a little bit. I tore his calf in half here more

01:52than he did the knee injury there. Uh, isn't it's a brutal injury. Uh, maybe

01:56when you don't, you don't deserve to be surprised, by the way, he's had injuries

01:58before. This is not a shock that he got hurt here. But you're right. But

02:02probably is more annoying is that Shanhan told day to day, week to week.

02:05You know, not now. He's not going on. He'll be fine. You know, we thought

02:08that. All right, I can miss him two weeks. Not a big deal here. But now he

02:11plays three games. Brutal, just brutal here. I only had him in one league. Only

02:14had the first overall pick in one league here. Uh, and the only reason I

02:17got him in that league to be honest, because, uh, that was an auto drafted

02:20team. So the only guy, Chris McCabe is auto drafted because, uh, a buddy of

02:24mine begged me to take over the team because I guess somebody dropped out or

02:27whatever. So, uh, yeah, me, but it is what it is. But he's not the only one,

02:31Greg. I mean, uh, breeze hole, Tyreek Hill. Not great first drop picks either.

02:37Yeah, no, I mean, look, somebody took Breeze Hall 234. Probably didn't go

02:42further than that. I mean, at least you could say with Breeze Hall, he had

02:451000 total yards and six touchdowns. And what when we say had, by the way,

02:49we're not sure that Breeze Hall is done, but he is listed as doubtful for this

02:53week. And this is the kind of player though, George, that I could easily buy

02:57right back into next year. Like I would have no hesitation in thinking that

03:01this could get better. What's so fascinating to me about him, George, in

03:04particular, is that he was better with with what I thought was a worst

03:08quarterbacking situation last year, and that just didn't turn out to be the

03:11case.

03:13It's whole situation is strange with the Jets, right? Because you're

03:15absolutely right, right? Theoretically, it was the worst quarterback situation,

03:19and yet he played much better. Now, the offensive line is terrible for the Jets.

03:22It's just bad. Uh, so, uh, it's funny. If you ask me right now, I'd rather have

03:28Christian McCaffrey next year or Hall. I would need to see what the Jets do to

03:31that offensive line. Who's gonna be the quarterback here? I might still go

03:33McCaffrey. Uh, let you know that I like Hall. It might be that play that traps

03:36him a second round for me. But like I said, that's an offseason. We need to

03:39see that. Do they fix the offensive line? Who's gonna be the quarterback?

03:42Is it a pure rookie? Are they bringing over a caretaker? You know, something

03:46like that occurred. Cousins. I think his days Atlanta might be now over as

03:50well. So we'll see on that. But, uh, I think Hall is still good. He's still

03:54good, but he that situation has to be corrected by the Jets.
