00:00Yes, thank you. From the opposition, PLD, they lamented that the law had to reach the Constitutional Court for its cancellation,

00:09considering that it should never have existed because it violated the fundamental rights of the citizenry.

00:15It is regrettable that the Constitutional Court had to tell the President what the whole country knew.

00:20Since that law came, we all knew that this law was unconstitutional.

00:24The whole country knew it and, unfortunately, it had to reach the Constitutional Court.

00:28Hopefully, from the Executive, no more pieces that violate the Constitution will arrive.

00:32PLD was one of the parties that submitted a direct action of unconstitutionality to the Constitutional Court,

00:37where, along with the parties that formed the Rescate-RD Alliance for the Elections of 2024,

00:43they requested that the law be declared not in accordance with the Constitution

00:47and violating the legislative procedures and fundamental rights,

00:51which was welcomed by the Constitutional Court this Friday.

00:55After its cancellation, the President of the Commission of the Chamber of Deputies that studied the piece, Ramón Bueno,

01:01said that the Executive Power resubmitted the piece again to the National Congress,

01:05with the agreements that were reached with those who opposed what it establishes.

01:10I even have it in the Defense Commission, which is where we know it.

01:17So we are going to see the arrangements that come, that it has, for us as a commission to make the adjustments of the place.
