I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Barry McGuigan was emotional on Good Morning Britain as he discussed the loss of his daughter on the ITV show

00:00It's the single most devastating thing that's ever happened to me.

00:06Losing my daughter five years ago was dreadful.

00:11And I never recovered from it, me and my wife.

00:15But I'm getting better as time goes on.

00:19I used not to be able to talk about it at all,

00:21but I know it's important that I do chat about it.

00:24And I know she's there somewhere.

00:27And I, you know, it's just, her life was so sad.

00:33And it all happened at a most important time in her life

00:36when things were looking great.

00:38And she got cancer and she died.

00:40And we, Sandy and I, my wife, have never really recovered from it.

00:45I don't think we ever will, but we'll,

00:47just time teaches us how to deal with it.

00:50And, you know, Danny has had similar issues in his life.
