00:00Millions of congressmen did not talk about their fellowship with President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:06on the issue of impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:17The Camera declared full support for President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:22It was through a manifesto given by congressmen to the President in a fellowship in Malacanang

00:30as part of the promises made by lawmakers to defend the President as a symbol of the sovereignty of the country.

00:37Maintaining the rule of law and democratic governance.

00:40Providing protection to the country from internal and external threats.

00:44Supporting unity and ensuring that the President's mandate is always in force.

00:50The manifesto was passed by the leaders of the Camera in the first place by House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:56The political party leaders also signed it from the bottom of their hearts.

01:00The fellowship in Malacanang was held just after the two impeachment complaints were filed in the Camera

01:05against Vice President Sara Duterte.

01:08But House Deputy Majority Leader Paulo Ortega clarified that

01:12there was no discussion here about politics and the impeachment was not even discussed.

01:18Basically, we had dinner and the resolution was presented.

01:22We had a little chat for about an hour and then we went home.

01:29There was no truth in what was said or speculated or what other people were thinking.

01:38In an interview, House Secretary General Reginald Velasco confirmed that

01:42what happened in Malacanang was just a simple meeting.

01:50Merry Christmas to the congressmen.

01:56And he thanked the continued support of the congressmen in the administration,

02:03particularly the priority bills of the administration.

02:08More than 200 congressmen participated in the meeting.

02:11This is just a part of the different efforts of the two branches of the government.

02:16The Presidential Communications Office also said that

02:19the so-called fellowship has been scheduled for a long time.
