00:10on France 24. I'd be interested to know what you think about the words of President Macron this

00:15evening. Well, I wasn't expecting the address to be quite like that. It was extremely combative,

00:22very scathing criticism, no contrition, no, no, you know, it's not basically it's not my fault.

00:31We have some visibility of what's going to come along. It says a new government in the coming

00:39days. It has a history of taking a lot of time. So I'd like to know how long is coming days.

00:46He doesn't have the luxury of time. He needs to act, you know, as soon as possible.

00:54We also realise that he is not going to stand down. He made it very, very clear.

00:59What I really don't know is what does he mean by a government of national interest? What does it

01:08mean? Who with? Is he going to go more towards the left? Is he going to try to appoint another

01:14Barney-like figure? This is not clear. OK, we have more visibility in terms of the budget,

01:22but it was kind of in the cards anyway that the 2024 budget would be carried over for 2025.

01:30But I felt that it was very combative, scathing criticism, a little bit more visibility,

01:36but we're not really sure who is going to be appointed because it didn't give us direction,

01:42which way is he looking for? What does it mean, a government of national interest?
