00:47Molly Holder, said the beauty of Wrapped is how much it reflects each individual user.

00:562024 Wrapped celebrates how you listened this year. According to Holder, this year's Wrapped
01:01comes with some exciting new features, including innovations like Your Music Evolution, which she
01:06says is an expansion of Spotify's AI-driven tools. Along with their new features, Spotify
01:12also announced their global top artist of the year, which is none other than Taylor Swift.
01:17This makes the second consecutive year Taylor Swift has claimed the top spot with over 26
01:21billion streams, marking another record-breaking year as fans flocked to her Taylor Swift The
01:26Heirs Tour and streamed her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, the anthology,
01:31in historic numbers. Some of Swift's top listeners on Spotify even received a heartfelt video message
01:36from the singer in their Wrapped packages. Well hi, I just wanted to say thank you so much for
01:40being one of my top listeners on Spotify. That's so nice of you. It's just been such a wild ride
01:45and I really appreciate everything you guys have done, including listening to my music so much.
01:49So cool. While The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish rounded out the top five global
01:54artists on the platform. Despite the news surrounding exciting new features and the
01:59top artist of the year, many feel Spotify Wrapped was underwhelming. One user even pleaded,
02:04please hire back whoever you fired, while another voiced their frustration with the new features,
02:09saying, I'm sorry but what was that? You deleted all the good features and the data is so inaccurate.
