Detroit firefighters show how quickly your Christmas tree can go up in flames

00:04east side where they just demonstrated how quickly a live tree can go up in

00:08flames if you don't water it. Now if you do have one of those live trees in your

00:13living rooms this holiday season they want to put out a warning that you water

00:18them each and every day. Now we're gonna look at some video footage of how

00:22quickly those flames can spread if you don't do this. And just in a matter of

00:27seconds the whole tree is in flames. So if you have a natural tree guys please

00:33water it they suggest daily.

00:38Less than 10 seconds the whole tree burns down.

00:47And like the fire department mentioned this happens when you don't water your

00:51tree on a daily basis. So for the holidays all it can be exciting we have

00:56to be very cautious so that this won't be the result.
