00:28In front of the Pinoy crowd in Dubai on Monday, the Pampanga Giant Lanterns defeated the Calhoun Huskers 88-71

00:36to win the game 1 of the 2024 National Finals.

00:40The Superstar Forward Justin Baltazar, who scored 24 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals,

00:45led the all-around game for the Giant Lanterns.

01:03Meanwhile, Pampanga Keeger Brandon Ramirez defended his victory for his father.

01:10Ramirez scored double-double, 11 markers and 11 boards.

01:18My father passed away just a couple of days ago.

01:21We still had Dubai. We had to come here to Dubai and play two games.

01:26That never changed in my head.

01:29At the end of the day, my father would want me to be out here and play the game that we both love, that we grew up playing together.
