Supermarket shelves left empty as Woolworths workers picket factory

Around 200 member of the United Workers Union have joined a picket line outside a warehouse in Dandenong, Victoria, as industrial dispute enters 12th day.

00:17This site has been closed since Thursday the 21st of November.

00:22It remains closed now.

00:24There has been no buses come, there's been nobody to try and go to work, and as it stands

00:29the site is shut.

00:30Woolworths can fix this issue.

00:32Woolworths can have those products back on their shelf.

00:35They can have that today.

00:37But also, really importantly, as with the shoppers, our members deserve to be safe at

00:43work.

00:44They deserve to work in a workplace that provides their safety first and foremost.

00:48And they need to be able to go home in the same shape that they arrived to their family

00:51at the end of the day.
