00:01Tonight on Big Brother, Belinda's fond farewell to former friends.
00:23I believe that I've made a great decision, not for myself but for you as well.
00:28Has the house hoping for a fresh start?
00:30It's got a much nicer feel to the house tonight than last night.
00:33Yes, let's hopefully we can keep it like this.
00:36But is it too good to be true?
00:38But I'm pretty sure that the steam isn't that far away and the pressure cooker will boil again.
00:58It's a gloomy start to day 32.
01:00The weather matches the mood of a household that's still getting over the sudden departure of Belinda.
01:10Her tearful exit the night before means the house has not only lost a friend,
01:14but the director of the musical they're working on for this week's task.
01:17I think the only way to really get this thing kicked off properly and get the musical done
01:20is to get Kylie in here for a couple of weeks.
01:23Really, if you think about it.
01:25Or a sister.
01:26No, or Natalie and Bruelly.
01:29Either's fine.
01:30Yeah.
01:31Either's fine.
01:33Actually, Natalie.
01:34Or both.
01:35But tell her to wear heels.
01:36I wouldn't complain if it was Holly, so anyone would wear heels.
01:38No, no, no.
01:39Do not bring Holly into this house at any stage.
01:41Reggie, you might be needed to get Ben up.
01:52To get Ben and Benjelina up.
01:55Ah, all right.
01:57Great, she says.
01:59We want to hear it, Reg.
02:10Ben?
02:11Well, you wake up now.
02:14Mm.
02:15Eh?
02:16Mm.
02:16Why?
02:22Belinda's exit is still a hot topic.
02:25You know how we sort of got something of everybody on our little mantelpiece?
02:28Yeah.
02:29I don't think we've got anything of Belinda's to add.
02:32No, because we gave everything back when we, as we'd find it.
02:36Yeah.
02:36Yeah.
02:36Oh, maybe we'll find something that's hard.
02:45No, that's so.
02:46Do you reckon, like, when she went back into the diary room for the last time, all dressed
02:51up and make up and all that kind of stuff, if she knew that she was going at that point?
02:56Yeah.
02:56Because when she, I think so.
02:59Because when she would have packed her bags and stuff.
03:01No, because when she spoke to me, what she said sounded like closure between her and I.
03:07She said some nice things.
03:09Oh, really?
03:09And it sounded like, you know, it was, yeah, it sounded like, you know, no, I thought it
03:17was nice, but in the context of the whole day, it makes sense.
03:20It made sense, yeah.
03:21Yeah, so.
03:25Get up.
03:27Get up.
03:28Reggie, you just got your hand on me.
03:30Get up.
03:32Um, would you like to be director?
03:34No.
03:34Is Ben being director?
03:40Would you like to be?
03:41It's the only way to get him out of bed.
03:42Do you have any idea, like, how to do it?
03:44How to direct people?
03:47Will he be able to tell us what to do?
03:49I really don't know how to tell people what to do.
03:52Bandera, come on.
03:53Would you like to or not?
03:54Yeah, I don't know.
03:55Give it a go?
03:55I'll give it a go.
03:56Right, we need to be elected, so you need to be in the kitchen.
04:00So come to the kitchen, now.
04:02Ah!
04:03I'm coming.
04:03Oh, now.
04:05Okay.
04:06No more.
04:07No, I said to you, I said, when you put things over and said, get up, I'll be up.
04:11No, I'm on your little f***.
04:13Biffo gum.
04:14Get up, get up, get up.
04:15I've been nice today.
04:16You have been great, Reggie.
04:17I appreciate it.
04:18Good.
04:22Ben has stepped into Belinda's shoes as director of the musical, and after all the distractions
04:26of the past few days, there's plenty of practice to be done.
04:29It's the start of our infusion together.
04:33Are you?
04:34Forever in the land, with no showers.
04:38You're all right, Reggie?
04:38It's flowers.
04:39Ah!
04:40Oh, good girl.
04:43Now, fat Bobby.
04:45What did you say that for?
04:48That's so nice.
04:49Because you said that.
04:50What did I say?
04:51Good girl.
04:53I said I'll stop calling you fat Bobby, and then we decided I'll still call you fat Bobby
04:57if you call me good girl.
04:59You never mentioned good girl.
05:00Yes, we did.
05:02Yes.
05:03I said, you don't say that, and you said, well, you don't say that.
05:05I don't want to talk about plastic teeth.
05:07You said don't say that.
05:08No, good girl.
05:10You're off your f***ing head, good girl.
05:12I've never said good girl to you before.
05:14Look, you're bull.
05:16You say it all the time.
05:17I've never said it to you.
05:18You do.
05:19I have not.
05:20You do.
05:20Come on, people.
05:23We're falling apart.
05:25The quicker we can get this song, the quicker we can make s***.
05:28All right.
05:28The other version of this song is us going, yeah, wow, it's this beautiful, incredible
05:33place with spas and pools and stuff, but we still got a hand wash.
05:40We haven't allocated singers.
05:41You know where we're going to do solos.
05:43Yes.
05:43Can you guys allocate those?
05:44Yes.
05:45Allocate who you think's where, and then you can put them wherever you want.
05:47Dance, allocation of solos, positions, who's on stage at what time, who's not.
05:52And transition.
05:53This is gold.
05:54We're like Elton John and Tim Rice writing a musical.
05:57You and me, buddy.
05:59You're my Elton John, I'm your Tim Rice.
06:01I've got no idea who those guys are.
06:03I have no idea either.
06:05But we just like them in almost every single way, except we're totally unlike them.
06:11You and me.
06:13It's unity.
06:15It's meant to be.
06:16We sing all together in harmony.
06:25Joanne has taken on the role of choreographer.
06:28Then we go, get in the house now.
06:32So we go, what was it?
06:34It was this.
06:35Yep.
06:35So we're all in the V, you can imagine.
06:37So I'll be the person at the peak.
06:38And I'll be the second one, so it's that sort of deal.
06:40Yeah, I'll be like that.
06:41Get in the house now.
06:42Get out the house now.
06:44So these people down here are going like that.
06:46And then this person here does that.
06:47So they're stepping out doing that.
06:48And this person in the front is going like that.
06:50Yeah, good.
06:50Okay.
06:51Coming up on Big Brother, Belinda's final words to her former housemates.
06:59You're all wonderful people.
07:01And even though there's issues to deal with, you don't need to pull each other down from
07:05that.
07:05It's got a much nicer feel to the house tonight than last night.
07:13Yes.
07:14Let's hopefully we can keep it like this for the rest of the time.
07:18Mm-hmm.
07:18Do you reckon?
07:20We can live in perfect harmony.
07:22Yep.
07:22It would be really nice, wouldn't it?
07:24That's what I'd like.
07:25I'd much prefer that.
07:32Oh, let's do a wee.
07:34I'll come back.
07:35Okay.
07:36And you can sing to me.
07:40That was almost rhymed.
07:41Huh?
07:42I'll do a wee and come back and you can sing to me.
07:45Yep.
07:45The house's enthusiasm for practising the task isn't shared by Vincent.
07:56But the musical's new director, Ben, is working with Regina on a prop for tomorrow night's
08:00performance.
08:01I'll break bits in there.
08:03What?
08:04I'll break bits in there.
08:05I can miss Lewis.
08:07As you pull them off past me.
08:10Okay.
08:12Next one.
08:15Songs for the musical task must be original, but Patrick and Joanne are making the most
08:21of the pen they've been given and decide to celebrate the new mood in the house with
08:25a duet of one of their favourite songs.
08:28Should we get first time?
08:30Okay.
08:31Cool.
08:35Shut up, Maria.
08:45Show me some of that Spanish dancing and pass me the bottle of Mr. Jones.
08:55Believe in me, cause I don't believe in anything and I want to be someone who believes.
09:05Mr. Jones and me, tell each other fairy tales as we stare at the beautiful women.
09:17She's looking at you, I don't think so, she's looking at me.
09:22Standing in the spotlight or something like that?
09:24Standing in the spotlight.
09:25Standing in the spotlight.
09:27Standing in the spotlight.
09:28Big brother has told the house he has a surprise for the evening.
09:36Make it so you can see the screen, please.
09:38Yep.
09:39That's why I was in here to not do this.
09:42I have tonight the video from Belinda, I promise you.
09:45Okay.
09:47I might just close that door.
09:48Yeah.
09:48Hang on, BB.
09:49Just so we can hear it.
09:49So we can hear it.
09:51Coming.
09:51It's raining.
09:54This is really...
09:56It's going to change the heart.
09:58I'm going to get sad.
10:00It's a night.
10:01We can hear sad now.
10:02That's alright.
10:02It's all mine.
10:03It's all mine, baby.
10:04Here we go.
10:05She's at home.
10:06Oh my god, she's at home.
10:07She's at home.
10:08They did it today.
10:09Cool.
10:10So hi guys.
10:11I'm safe, happy at home with my two cute little puppies.
10:16This is Reggie here and Max over here.
10:18I just want to say that I have gone, as you would have noticed, and I'm sorry if it hurts
10:28you, but I just all want you to know that there's a good in this, and I believe that I've
10:35made a great decision, not for myself, but for you as well.
10:39I've had such a positive experience from the whole show, from being in the house.
10:44I enjoyed every personality, even when there was a low, I saw a positive.
10:50There has to be a positive that comes from a negative, so I want you all to realise that
10:55yourselves as well.
10:56And I will miss everybody in there.
11:01Chrissie, Dan and Reggie, you are very strong and beautiful people, so keep being the way
11:08you are.
11:09I want everyone to learn and grow, even from this experience.
11:16You're all wonderful people, and even though there's issues to deal with, you don't need
11:21to pull each other down from that.
11:23We will all see each other again.
11:26This is the real world where I am now, and it's just great.
11:29And I want you all to know that I will be seeing you really soon, and I'm looking forward
11:33to it immensely.
11:35But thank you very much, and enjoy your time there, because I've enjoyed it, and now I'm
11:41enjoying the other side.
11:42Thank you guys.
11:43Bye.
11:43Bye.
12:03After the break, Regina's tears for Belinda.
12:23I look forward to seeing you when I get out.
12:26Am I so lethargic today?
12:35I feel like I had a nap, got up, and I'm still feeling bleh, just like a drained tide,
12:43not a physical tide.
12:45A drained tide, like you've been...
12:46It's emotionally draining being in here.
12:47Yeah, like you've had an argument.
12:48You know when you argue for two hours straight, three hours, oh, am I the only one who does
12:52it?
12:52But just give her a nice curve, as much as you can, don't worry about the black lines.
13:01Oh, okay.
13:02Yeah.
13:03This is Big Brother, Ben, to the diary room.
13:06Can we make a decision about what we want to do?
13:09Big Brother has called him in to get his views on the dramatic events of the past few days.
13:17Ben?
13:18Yes?
13:18Do you think the mood of the house has changed over the last 24 hours?
13:23Um, yeah.
13:24It was like a religious retreat, and it was just so mundane and becoming very plain, and
13:30I think people were waiting for things to happen.
13:32They happened, and it's like a pressure cooker that's now got no steam in it.
13:37But I'm pretty sure that the steam isn't that far away, and the pressure cooker will boil
13:42again.
13:42It's just a matter of time, I suppose.
13:45But I think that the emotional stability of a few people in the house just needs a time
13:51to settle down and relax, and we'll just see where the dust settles.
13:58You've worked out that you don't like aggressive, conflictive behaviour.
14:05I don't think anyone does.
14:07No, some people do, I think.
14:12Or they can engage in such.
14:16And I find that before I, you know...
14:22There's no point.
14:23No.
14:23My grandpa, my grand-grandpa, said, empty vessels make the most noise.
14:30Hmm.
14:33If Belinda was listening now...
14:35Yep.
14:36..what would you like to say to her?
14:38I'd like to say that there may have been occasions when I reacted in ways that I may not be able
14:45to explain, and that given the time in the future, I'm sure Belinda and I can sit down
14:50and have a little bit of a chat, and hopefully I can say some words
14:55which will be heard by her and accepted.
15:03Just didn't need to get to that, you know?
15:05That's what I said all along.
15:06Did not need...
15:07I don't understand.
15:08It shouldn't have happened.
15:09It did not need to happen.
15:10Ben said it himself.
15:11There was no benefit.
15:12There was no benefit whatsoever.
15:14And then that's...
15:15How does it get like that?
15:16Like, how does it...
15:18Well, then one starts and then someone else will bounce off.
15:21It's just donor effect, isn't it?
15:22And then the other one bounces off that, and then the other one sees that and bounces off
15:25that, and then the older one kept going.
15:26The younger one looked up to the older one, and he kept going, and then it was a cycle
15:29that was spurting off each other.
15:33Yeah.
15:34The whole thing was that I said, I guess I thought, I'm not thinking this is going to
15:38be really just retreat, which is what it was called, because the way that I wanted it
15:44to be was that everyone would just be able to get along, even if they had differences.
15:48Well, I think that's a reasonable assumption.
15:50Do you think that?
15:51That was...
15:51I think, let's cut the bulls**t.
15:58Regina is also called to the diary room to discuss the effects of Belinda's sudden
16:02departure.
16:03Hello.
16:05Regina.
16:06Yes.
16:06Do you think that the mood of the house has changed over the last 24 hours?
16:13I think everyone has sort of woken up to themselves a bit in not being catty and you
16:27don't hear anyone sort of snickering about anyone like that was going on before.
16:33And if Belinda was listening now, what would you like to say to her?
16:43Sorry.
16:52That I miss her and I hope that she had a good time.
17:03When we were together and I look forward to seeing her when I get out and I hope that
17:13she endures her time while she's out of here.
17:15She endures her time.
17:16Yeah.
17:16She endures her time.
17:17I want to be together and she endures her time.
17:18I want to be together.
17:19She endures her time.
17:21They're all right.
17:23Great.
17:25You're welcome.
17:26You're welcome.
17:27I'll be happy.
17:28I'll be happy.
17:30Next, on Big Brother.
17:42I'm Jimmy, and I'm here to rock your world.
17:45I'm the lead singer of the band.
17:47Ow, dig it.
17:48My nose is really squashed.
17:54The judging of the task is less than 24 hours away,
17:57and there's still a lot of planning to be done.
17:59I'll get in there.
18:01There we go.
18:05Hi, I'm Jimmy.
18:07I'll squish my nose right off.
18:09Yeah, you've got to sing.
18:10Hi.
18:11I'm Jimmy, and I'm here to rock your world.
18:14I'm the lead singer of the band.
18:16Ow, dig it.
18:17My nose is really squashed.
18:18I'm going to be really nasal in it.
18:19I reckon I'll cut it so your nose can go through as well.
18:22But while some people's minds are on the musical,
18:24others are still thinking of the repercussions
18:26of recent events in the house.
18:28I think for me, trust is a big issue.
18:32And I think, you know, I'm not a mistrustful person.
18:37Like, I'm not a wary person.
18:38But if I can see trust being abused,
18:44I certainly don't want to open myself up.
18:47To then have that done to you?
18:49Yeah.
18:49To be manipulated with my own personal information that I volunteered.
18:54You know, because you don't get to be someone, you know,
18:56without having something to, some interesting bits and pieces.
19:01But it's whether you trust someone enough to divulge that,
19:04know that they won't throw it back at, you know.
19:07And I don't feel that.
19:09Not here.
19:10Not yet.
19:10No.
19:11Not yet.
19:11No.
19:12Probably not ever now.
19:13No.
19:13Well, I think that window...
19:16That's why I never want to...
19:16Because we've seen...
19:17I don't know.
19:17I think I've seen what people are capable of.
19:21Yeah.
19:21And, um, there's just no way.
19:26Yeah.
19:27I agree.
19:27There's no way.
19:29It's very scary letting people into you.
19:32Yeah.
19:33They trust.
19:33Well, I really enjoy doing it.
19:35If I know that, um...
19:37I'll tell you anything.
19:38Yeah.
19:39Same.
19:40You know, and I'd tell Reggie anything.
19:42Yeah.
19:42And I'd tell Dan anything.
19:44But, you know, there are just...
19:47And it's obviously...
19:50I've only known you for a month.
19:52It's obviously not like, um...
19:54You know, I'm very guarded and I need to know someone for years or whatever.
19:57But you just get a feeling and you know that, you know, some people aren't going to, you know, take things.
20:03And also you've got to be sure that it won't affect how they feel about you either.
20:06Yeah.
20:08You know?
20:08Yeah.
20:12Later, Chrissie finds a sympathetic ear in Regina.
20:16How are you feeling?
20:18Good.
20:19Are you?
20:20Mm-hmm.
20:21Yep.
20:22If I go, I won't be like, oh, that was too early.
20:26No.
20:27You know?
20:28I'll be fine with it.
20:30Because I didn't come in for...
20:32I didn't come in to win.
20:33No.
20:34No.
20:35Never crossed my mind.
20:36I was just so happy just to, like...
20:39To be here.
20:41I know.
20:41Like, to be here.
20:41I couldn't believe it.
20:43Yeah.
20:44I couldn't believe it.
20:45Because I went through a lot of years where...
20:47Like, I went to, like, 40 job interviews or something.
20:50No way.
20:50Yeah.
20:51And I'd get down to, like, the final two.
20:53Oh, Chrissie, really?
20:54Yeah, and then they'd go, oh, we've gone with the other person.
20:56Oh, how horrible.
20:58Yeah, like, for two years, every job I went for, they're like, we really like you.
21:01But, uh, we think that maybe you'd be better off pursuing a creative side of la, la, la.
21:06And I was...
21:07That'd be so, um...
21:08It was devastating.
21:09Yeah, like...
21:10Absolutely devastating.
21:11You'd feel...
21:12You'd feel...
21:13You'd feel...
21:13Yeah.
21:14What's wrong with me?
21:15Yeah.
21:15What is wrong with me?
21:16When this happened, I thought, it's going to happen again.
21:19I'm going to get...
21:20Oh.
21:20I'm going to get the video done.
21:22I'm going to get all that cool stuff.
21:24Yeah.
21:24And then I just knew that they were going to call and go, we really like you, but, you
21:29know, we haven't...
21:29Yeah.
21:29...made it.
21:31Like, I just...
21:31I just thought, I don't think I can deal with that.
21:35Like, so when they called and said, you're in, I was like, I couldn't believe it.
21:41I felt that...
21:42And that was like...
21:42I think I might have even said, God, I never win anything.
21:45Like...

21:59Yeah.
21:59Walking in the door, that was it for me.
22:01Yeah.
22:02I've achieved everything I wanted to achieve.
22:03Yeah.

22:07Can't believe it.
22:09Mm.
22:12It's been a day of talking for the housemates, and despite the late hour, Ben is still in
22:16full swing in the square bedroom.
22:18He's spent the past hour regaling stories of his time in the Victorian police force.
22:23Now that you're not a copper, you go back to wherever your district was, and you pass
22:28one of them in the street, and they know full well you're not a copper.
22:31Do you still feel the respect that they had for you, or are they like, ah,
22:35ha, ha, ha, he's not a copper anymore?
22:37It takes, it's the man that makes the badge, not the badge that makes a man, and if you
22:43lose sight of that, and you actually think that you're the man made by the badge, you
22:47will not last very long.
