00:00In India and Saudi, meteorologists reported rainfall and strong winds associated with

00:04tropical storm Fengal, which caused flooding in several regions of the country.

00:08According to the report, the hardest hit areas are the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry regions,

00:13with overflown rivers, fallen trees and infrastructure damage.

00:17The government has deployed some 22,000 troops, including engineers, law enforcement and health

00:22workers, to deal with the emergency.

00:24It also set up shelters for affected families and started water drainage using over 1,606

00:32pumps.

00:35And in Uganda, the death toll from landslide caused by heavy rains has risen to 20.

00:40According to the Ugandan Red Cross, the bodies of four more people were found on Friday,

00:45whereas a fifth injured person died at the clinic where he was hospitalized.

00:48Local authorities reported that firefighters and soldiers have been deployed to the affected

00:52areas to help with the excavation and removal of the bodies that remain under the mud.

00:57Heavy rains triggered landslides that affected six villages in the mountain district of Bulampuli,

01:0280 kilometers east of Kampala, Uganda's capital, leaving about 125 houses destroyed and 750

01:09people displaced.
