00:00A WWE secret exposed!
00:02WWE planning a big Netflix angle!
00:05Paul Heyman on Brock, Lesnar and more.
00:09I'm Oli Mustache, and this is the WrestleTalk News.
00:25Happy Survivor Series Eve, everybody!
00:27Which will be main evented by the- our Survivor Series Eve coverage is interrupted by this
00:31urgent breaking news!
00:33Breaking News Pro Wrestling Company Works Marks.
00:37We're the marks.
00:38On last Friday's episode of SmackDown, Jade Cargill was found unconscious backstage,
00:42slammed through the windscreen of a car.
00:45WWE later listed an almost comically long list of kayfabe injuries that she had sustained
00:50on their website.
00:51Both the Wrestling Observer and Fightful then reported this was actually an angle to write
00:56Cargill off TV to cover for an undisclosed injury.
00:59The Wrestling Observer said that even people high up in the company didn't know what
01:03the exact injury was, but that she could be out for up to three months.
01:07PWNexus corroborated this, adding that the three month time frame was a best case scenario,
01:13as it is actually a neck injury that could take up to a year to recover from.
01:19WWE's long-term plans for Cargill seemed in disarray.
01:22She had to be replaced in the Women's US title tournament.
01:25She and Bianca Belair would likely have to relinquish the Women's tag titles.
01:28And the seemingly year-long build for Cargill vs Bianca at WrestleMania would have to be
01:34delayed.
01:35Unless it's all a big fat Worky McWorkface.
01:39Because according to PWInsider, multiple WWE sources say that while there has been some
01:44incorrect reporting floating around that Jade Cargill is legitimately injured, that claim
01:49is 100% incorrect.
01:52We are told that attack on Cargill on last week's Friday Night SmackDown was all storyline,
01:58nothing more.
01:59While WWE announced a litany of injuries to Cargill, we are told that is to all put over
02:04the severity of the attack and set the stage for a future Cargill storyline.
02:09So in short, Jade Cargill is not injured.
02:13Does that mean Fightful have to send the cheeseboard to Triple H now?
02:16It poses some interesting questions about the Women's division direction on SmackDown.
02:21If PWInsider is to be believed, Cargill should be returning soonish to find out who attacked
02:26her.
02:27Her tag partner Bianca has an alibi, as she was in a match at the time Jade was discovered.
02:31Bayley did take her place in the WarGames team, so she could be a suspect.
02:35As could Lash Legend, who crashed with her at Crown Jewel and then replaced her in the
02:39US title tournament.
02:40Who do you think ran over Stone Cold, I mean injured Jade Cargill?
02:43Let me know in the comments.

03:47WWE is set to go New Year, New Me… day, night Raw in 2025, when the red brand will
03:54start streaming on Netflix from the 6th January.
03:56And to build one of the biggest steps in the company's history, WWE is apparently planning
04:01something for an upcoming event at Netflix's headquarters on Tuesday 3rd December, about
04:07a month out from Raw's Netflix debut.
04:10The WWE Insider is reporting Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan and The Bloodline are confirmed
04:13to appear.
04:14No word there on if Bloodline includes CM Punk.
04:17And that WWE has been working on creative for that event already, intending to hit the
04:22road running with a major show, and there's been talk of some potential returns that night
04:26as well.
04:27Sounds like WWE might treat Tuesday's Netflix event as a kayfabe angle, similar to the WrestleMania
04:3340 press conference back in February, the one where The Rock did a powerpoint presentation
04:37on his family tree, and it was confirmed Cody Rhodes would main event WrestleMania
04:41against Roman Reigns, not Reigns vs The Rock.
04:44With Cody at the December 3rd event, and him reportedly being high on Netflix's wishlist
04:48of stars they want on Raw, perhaps The Rock could confront him again for the next chapter
04:54in their feud.
04:55Which is made increasingly more likely by The Rock's latest movie Red One Bombing
04:59at the box office.
05:00There is a direct correlation between Rock not doing well in Hollywood, and him returning
05:04to WWE to get easy big pop PR.
05:06Oh damn it, Moana 2's released today.
05:08Huh.
05:09Maybe he isn't wrestling at WrestleMania.
05:10But what else could happen at the January 6th Netflix debut Raw?
05:14How about EVERYTHING?
05:15EVERYTHING'S GONNA HAPPEN.
05:16The end of any year brings us one of wrestling fans' most consistent traditions.
05:22Speculating on who's going to make surprise returns in January.
05:25Or February, I guess.
05:27Or a Rumble is in February next year.
05:30Doesn't feel right.
05:31Not only is the Rumble match one of the best places for a wrestler to make their surprise
05:35return, it also means they'll be back in action and paydays for the biggest time of
05:39the year, the Road to WrestleMania.
05:43On the 19th April.
05:44I feel like one of those confused migrating birds when the planet's heating up and all
05:48the seasons are getting pushed back.
05:49PWInsider, who appeared to have texted all their sources on Thanksgiving to get all the
05:53scoops in this video, is reporting that creative discussions have started about when and how
05:59to bring Drew McIntyre back to WWE.
06:02Drew hasn't been seen since he lost to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match at October's
06:06Bad Blood.
06:07He required 16 staples in his head from how much he bled in that match, but he has also
06:11taken some extended time off to attend to family matters.
06:15PWInsider is also reporting there has recently been a lot of talk in WWE creative circles
06:20about how to bring back Alexa Bliss.
06:23They had previously claimed WWE are planning for her return after the holiday season, and
06:28they are now actively working on how she would be factored into storylines.
06:32Bliss hasn't been seen in WWE for almost two years, since she lost to Bianca Belair
06:36in the Raw Women's Championship match at the 2023 Royal Rumble show.
06:41In that time, she has given birth to her first daughter, and has dealt with some health issues.
06:45She recently teased her own return, posting Where's Alexa? with a magnifying glass gif
06:49on Twitter, then replied to a fan asking when she'll come back, unfortunately, not up
06:55to me.
06:57But not everyone can return.
06:58Amidst the Alexa Bliss reports, Fightful Select investigated whether another absent lady star,
07:03Carmella, was going to return soon.
07:05She's also been off TV for almost two years, with her last appearance on the 6th March
07:092023 episode of Raw, after which she gave birth to her and Corey Graves' first child.
07:15She revealed she had been dealing with dropped foot following her pregnancy, which has seemingly
07:19delayed her return.
07:20And now Fightful write there hasn't been any talk backstage in WWE about her coming
07:24back, but she would be welcomed when she's ready.
07:28One person who's been controversially name-dropped several times over the last few months is
07:32Brock Lesnar.
07:33Lesnar was due to make his WWE return back in the 2024 Royal Rumble match, but those
07:39plans were dropped when he was reportedly referenced in Janelle Grant's lawsuit against
07:43Vince McMahon.
07:44Lesnar was also cut from WWE's opening video package, and removed from the WWE 2K24 game
07:50as much as they could.
07:51Paul Levesque, though, has said Brock is not gone from WWE, and the Wrestling Observer's
07:57belief is that Lesnar will return when WWE's legal team believes it's safe to do so.
08:02Brock has remained on the active WWE roster page throughout all of this.
08:06And Xavier Woods even said Voldemort, I mean Brock's name, in his segment with Kofi Kingston
08:10on this week's Raw.
08:12A big move forward from a wrestler WWE almost denied the existence of on TV earlier this
08:17year.
08:18In an interview with Shaq Wrestling, Brock's close friend and former onscreen manager Paul
08:22Heyman spoke on Lesnar's potential return.
08:25It's not a subject that's going to resolve itself by Survivor Series or by the end of
08:29the year, and therefore is just not on the radar of things to address today.
08:33No, Hell, Heyman didn't say it's not on the radar for January.
08:36Based on both love and appreciation for the man and a healthy dose of absolute fear of
08:40the man, I will neither confirm nor deny my knowledge of even the existence of a species
08:46on this planet that carries the name Brock Lesnar.
08:49It seems the Lesnar return saga is just in the bottom of the second with two outs and
08:53a picture change.
08:55While Heyman's other big wrestling story, the Bloodline, is in the upper 5th part C
08:59section III reference footnotes on page 496… stage.
09:03And there's plenty more to come.
09:07As Roman Reigns has told Sports Illustrated, there's just so much meat left on the bone.
09:12So many different stories to tell, new family members coming in, so it's one of those
09:16deals where, kind of like, you hear athletes like as long as you feel good enough to practice,
09:22then I can play.
09:23Because even more family members are currently Lance Anoa'i, who's currently signed with
09:28NXT, but is out injured until early 2025.
09:30He's the son of former WWF star Samu and the grandson of AFA of the Wild Samoans, making
09:35him Roman, The Usos, Solo and Jacob's… cousin, let's say cousin.
09:45And the former New Japan star Hikaleo, who's been signed since before the Summer, but still
09:49hasn't debuted.
09:50He's the real-life brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
09:53Interestingly, Roman also responded to an interview Cody gave last month.
09:57Rhodes claimed to the Flagrant podcast that his real-life relationship with Roman is professional,
10:03but distant.
10:04Which might stem from comments Cody made about Reigns' failed drug test and body back in
10:082017.
10:10According to Cody, while he doesn't have a bad word to say about Roman, they've only
10:14ever had two conversations since he came back to WWE.
10:19Which is quite low, considering they've been in at least four matches together since
10:23then.
10:24They supposedly didn't even have a moment together after Cody's win at WrestleMania
10:2840.
10:29Roman has now corroborated this to Sports Illustrated, saying,
10:31There's no need to talk.
10:33But if you want to sit out there and babyface for four hours, then I ain't waiting, especially
10:38at that point.
10:39We know what we did.
10:40We were both out there, so you can thank each other and all that old stuff.
10:44But we put our bodies on the line together, and I think that's thanks enough.
10:49Just remember the lesson from the start of this episode, pro wrestlers are going to pro
10:53wrestling work.
10:54So take Roman and Cody's tension with a pinch of salt.
10:58Now ahead of Survivor Series, watch Luke and I predict every main roster star's chances
11:02at the show in three words or less… slash fewer.
