00:00My name is Muhammad Khairi bin Burhanuddin.
00:11As a fellow industry in the Faculty of Public Works in Sekitar,
00:15the inspiration I got started when I saw the situation of construction
00:21and things that face a lot of problems,
00:24such as rising costs, rising prices, and long construction times.
00:30From that inspiration, I started to think about what I could contribute
00:34to the country's construction industry.
00:36So I came up with the idea to design a construction material.
00:40I named it Dr. Brick.
00:48I am Dr. Muhammad Baruddin bin Rizwan.
00:50I work in the Faculty of Public Works in Sekitar, PTSM, Johor.
00:54In the construction of a structure,
00:56which is the main material in the construction of a building,
00:59we manage to save material and construction time.
01:06Before I got the idea to design Dr. Brick,
01:10I did a lot of drafting.
01:12From there, I improved little by little.
01:14Until one day, I saw my son playing with Lego.
01:19Everyone knows Lego.
01:21From that moment, I thought,
01:23why don't I make something with a more complex concept like Lego?
01:27So the concept of Dr. Brick is to use the concept of interlocking.
01:33This is our final product,
01:35which has a female and a male set-up.
01:40And if you look at the sides,
01:42it's very smooth.
01:44We call it a facial brick.
01:46The advantage of this product is that it doesn't need to be plastered.
01:49Once it's plastered, it's done.
01:52Our product is octagonal.
01:54The advantage of this side is that it avoids twisting
01:58or twisting between one unit of Dr. Brick and the other.
02:02So it's interlocking.
02:04Okay, my hope is, of course, to be a champion.
02:08We've been doing this since 2016.
02:11And one of the most important things, I think,
02:13is to help the economy.
02:15Maybe some of us can train to be brick installers
02:21and open a construction business.
02:26And we can also market the machines that we have fabricated
02:32to be a business, a brick manufacturer.
