00:00At the moment, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is in the United Arab Emirates to discuss bilateral relations.

00:07Among the people who are waiting for him are President Marcos Jr. and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s one-day working visit to the United Arab Emirates is now in full swing.

00:26At 6 a.m. here in the Philippines, the President arrived in the UAE with First Lady Luis Araneta Marcos.

00:33Earlier this afternoon, Chief Executive of UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, helped.

00:40In a post on his social media, X, UAE President shared their meeting and conversation of President Marcos Jr.

00:47where the two leaders discussed the deepening of cooperation between the UAE and the Philippines

00:53in important areas such as economy, trade, and sustainability.

00:58This also gave the UAE the readiness to strengthen ties in the Philippines that will benefit the citizens of the two countries.

01:06It is also expected that they will sign a cultural cooperation agreement

01:10through the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts

01:13led by Chairperson Vic Manalo and Ministry of Culture of the UAE, witnessed by First Lady Luis Araneta Marcos.

01:21The President will also meet with the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

01:28The President and the UAE leader will soon have a phone call where the Filipino leader expressed his gratitude

01:35for the pardon of the 143 OFWs in the UAE.

01:39The President also acknowledged the humanitarian work of the UAE, especially in helping the Philippines in the recent calamities.

01:46Former DILG Secretary Benher Abalos was also with the delegation of the President

01:50because of his close ties to the UAE Royal Family.

01:53While DNR Secretary Maria Antonio Yulo-Loyzaga is expected to have assistance from his counterparts

02:00to discuss the agreement to spread the measures to avoid garbage in the oceans.

02:07The PCEO also expressed his gratitude for the President's request to the Filipino community in the UAE

02:12that he will no longer be able to visit because he will return to the Philippines

02:16for personal assistance in relief and reconstruction activities in the communities affected by the recent typhoons.

02:22As part of the Caretaker Committee of the Government while the Chief Executive is abroad,

02:27former Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulia,

02:32and Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III.
