00:00Hi, I'm Freya Rose. Freya, tell us where we are and what we're doing here tonight.
00:04We are at the Queen's Hotel in Southsea and tonight we're here hosting a gala
00:10in aid of the King's Trust Change a Girl's Life campaign. So tell me a little
00:14bit about that and your journey. Yeah, so I started my business 15 years ago. I was
00:20supported with the Prince's Trust Enterprise Scheme with a £3,000 loan
00:24and a mentor and really it's just about us now, you know, giving back to the
00:30charity that I feel deeply passionate about. I guess, you know, I really feel
00:36passionate about people that have come from disadvantaged backgrounds and the
00:42King's Trust do so much work to support them. And tell me a little bit about your
00:47business. So yeah, so I started as I said 15 years ago. My idea was to create a
00:54shoe brand that incorporated my knowledge of jewellery and so we're
00:58renowned for shoes with mother-of-pearl heels and that sort of incorporate
01:03jewelled features and so we call it a marriage of shoes and jewellery and we
01:07also now do a demi-fine jewellery collection. So tell me how you're feeling
01:12about tonight on the Gala Night. I'm feeling really nervous but also excited.
01:18I'm excited to see everybody, have a good time and raise vital funds for this
01:24amazing charity. So tonight obviously we're here to raise funds for the
01:28charity but it's also really important I think to create awareness about what the
01:33King's Trust does. I think that a lot of people always ask me the question what
01:38is it that the King's Trust does and they do so many things to help women,
01:42young women, young entrepreneurs, people getting back to work and so it's really
01:47important to create awareness for Portsmouth and the surrounding area to
01:50know all the work that's, everything that they can access from the
01:55King's Trust.
