00:00The Energy Regulatory Commission, or ERC, sued the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, or NGCP,
00:08for violating the 27 Transmission Infrastructure Projects in the country.
00:14In the 105-page decision of the ERC released today,
00:19it was stated that the NGCP did not give its consent for the violation of the implementation of the projects,
00:25and because of that, the NGCP must pay Php 12.3 million within 15 days after receiving the decision.
00:37According to the ERC, it is important that the projects are not suspended
00:41because it has a great effect on the transmission system and cost of electricity paid by the consumers.
00:49We are asking the NGCP to give its consent.
