00:00So anytime you need to get water, there is a two gallon reserve.
00:04Turn this on now.
00:17Whether there's a pandemic or not, these are homes that have not had running water.
00:22And due to the pandemic, it makes it a lot easier for homeowners to stay at home
00:29instead of trying to figure out where they're going to go to get water.
00:39We're at our install site.
00:40So we have the tank inside.
00:42This is our blue PVC line.
00:45This is where we refill the water.
00:48I'm standing on the 1,200 gallon tank.
00:51The 1,200 gallon tank will be attached to our suitcase.
00:56When the homeowner turns this system on, it will then filter out the water
01:01and the water will come out of here.
01:03This is our suitcase.
01:05Before, what we normally do is go inside a home and install a sink.
01:12And all the components that are inside the suitcase and the home water system,
01:17we go inside the home and plumb everything inside.
01:21The only difference during the pandemic is it halted us from going inside
01:25because we wanted to make sure our clients, our community, our employees,
01:30everybody was safe because we didn't have enough information at that time
01:35of how one can get COVID or what it takes to be exposed to it.
01:39So for the safety of our community, especially our elders, who we value the most,
01:45we didn't want to have any type of exposure.
01:47The only component that we were not able to do is the hot water.
01:53So it's just like basically cold water that we were able to do with the suitcase.
01:58Next is testing our system.
02:02Since our tank is right here underground and we have brought 1,200 gallons worth of water,
02:07we're going to haul that in and now fill up the tank underground next with that water.
02:38Well, during the pandemic, it's critical to have access to water more than pre-pandemic.
02:44One, you have children with you at home all the time now.
02:48Two, you're going in and out and being exposed possibly,
02:52so you need to wash your hands more often.
02:54You're cooking more meals for your family.
03:08It takes off a lot of stress that we didn't realize we carry every day until there's a big
03:25change, such as hauling water.
03:28You have more time to your family, to your livestock, to yourself,
03:34instead of trying to figure out the logistics of who's going to haul water,
03:40how am I going to compensate them if I don't have a vehicle,
03:43or how am I going to schedule time off if I have children in school or even if I'm employed full
03:49time.
