Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees

The 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced. Included is Missy Elliott, who will be the first female rapper inducted.

00:23means so much to know that I have touched others as well. But to hear that I am the first female

00:27hip-hop artist to ever be nominated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, wow, this one hits

00:32extra different as I hope it opens doors for other female emcees to be recognized. Her induction also

00:37coincides with the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip-hop.
