Marine testifies on U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan

This is Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews, who was badly injured in the Kabul airport bombing that killed 13 U.S. service members. In a recent testimony, he said they identified the suicide bomber before the blast, but were not given authority to engage.

00:32Then a flash and a massive wave of pressure

00:36I'm throwing 12 feet onto the ground, but instantly knew what had happened. I opened my eyes to Marines dead or unconscious lying around me

00:47Laying there for a few minutes. I started to lose consciousness

00:52When I heard Chaz my team leader screaming my name as he ran to me his voice

00:58His voice calling to me kept me awake

01:03The withdrawal was a catastrophe in my opinion and there was an inexcusable lack of accountability and negligence

01:14And one soldier that were murdered that day have not been answered for
