Frank Ocean’s long-anticipated Coachella set left many fans frustrated.

00:00Frank Ocean performed for the first time in over six years at Coachella but we need to talk about

00:04how a delayed start and an early end left many fans confused and disappointed. The R&B singer

00:09headlined the music festival Sunday night in what was the most anticipated set of the weekend. He

00:13was originally set to headline Coachella in 2020 but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Just

00:17hours before he took the stage it was announced that his set wouldn't be live streamed via YouTube

00:21which led many to tune in via Fanshot Instagram and TikTok live streams. Festival goers who had

00:26been waiting as early as 8am to see him had to wait about an hour with him taking the stage around

00:3011pm. His staging was dominated by a giant video screen making Ocean largely not visible for the

00:35majority of the performance. The setlist largely consisted of reworked versions of some of his

00:39biggest hits and Ocean dedicated the performance to his late brother Ryan. At midnight Ocean

00:44abruptly ended the show citing the strict curfew the festival has to abide by on Sundays leaving

00:48many fans in disbelief. Ocean who hasn't released new music since 2020 teased that a new album is

00:54coming quote just not right now.
