Ticketmaster fined for selling fake Bad Bunny tickets

00:05Last weekend, the singer performed

00:07two 85,000 person sold out shows in Mexico City,

00:10but more than a thousand fans who purchased tickets

00:12via Ticketmaster were turned away.

00:14In a statement, Ticketmaster Mexico said this occurred

00:17due to an unprecedented number of counterfeit tickets

00:19issued through their site

00:20and a general oversell of tickets.

00:22Ricardo Sheffield,

00:23the head of Mexico's Federal Attorney Office for Consumers,

00:26said it will require Ticketmaster to give those affected

00:28a 100% refund plus a 20% compensation.

00:32He also said that the Mexico branch
