00:10and seven others. Los Angeles County awarded Vanessa Bryant, the wife of the late basketball

00:14star, a total of $28.85 million. That number includes the $15 million she was awarded in

00:20August for violation of privacy and emotional distress. In 2020, Vanessa Bryant sued Los

00:25Angeles County after learning that first responders to the helicopter crash took

00:28unauthorized photos of the scene, which were then shared in unofficial settings,

00:32including to patrons in a bar. Quote,

00:38hold accountable those who engaged in this grotesque conduct. Vanessa Bryant's attorney,

00:42Louise Lee, said in a statement, She fought for her husband, her daughter,
