00:05And it's inhumane, and it's a dark day in America.

00:08But as Americans and as humans, full of love and joy, we're going to rise in hope and not sink in cynicism.

00:26And there's so many things that we actually need to get under control, and this isn't one of them.

00:31So to me, it's a shock.

00:33And I think definitely for a lot of millennials, it's like one thing after another that we keep feeling like,

00:37hmm, what's the foundation we're standing on?

00:41We have work to do, work that our forefathers have already done.

00:44Our ancestors have already done.

00:46We have work to do, right?

00:48Frederick Douglass said eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.

00:51We thought we won something.

00:53We got complacent.

00:55And now we know.
