00:04but we need to talk about the new bunch of A-listers violating California drought restrictions.

00:08Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Kevin Hart, and Dwayne Wade are some of the Southern

00:12California residents that have been cited for their excessive monthly water usage.

00:16Roughly 2,000 customers were issued notices of exceedance, which are sent out when a home goes

00:21over its monthly water budget by 150% at least 4 times. These monthly budgets were implemented

00:26to achieve a 50% reduction in consumption due to the state's water shortage emergency.

00:30Penalties for the notice include a surcharge on water bills and potentially the installation of

00:34flow restrictor devices. This is just the most recent example of the ultra-rich getting called

00:39out for their negligence towards the environment. Last month, celebrities such as Taylor Swift and

00:43Drake were criticized for the CO2 emissions caused by their private jets. The report stated

00:47that planes affiliated with celebrities emitted roughly 480 times more than the average person's

00:52annual emissions.
