00:04Tucker Carlson will host a new version of his show on Twitter.

00:08The far-right talking head, who was fired from Fox News last month,

00:11made the announcement in a tweet.

00:13Facts have been withheld on purpose, along with proportion and perspective.

00:19Carlson's previous contract with Fox included a non-compete clause,

00:23meaning he would not be able to take his show to a competitor.

00:26But, according to Axios,

00:28Carlson is arguing that part of his contract is no longer valid following his firing.

00:33Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, tweeted after the announcement,

00:37saying a formal deal with the ex-Fox News host had yet to be signed.

00:41Musk also tweeted at Don Lemon, a CNN host who was also fired from his network recently,

00:47asking if he would be interested in hosting his own show on the social media platform.

00:51At the time of publishing this video, Lemon had yet to respond.
