There were long crowds, giveaways and a feeling of Christmas cheer amid rainy conditions as the Lidl Freeway Cola Truck came to Victoria Street in Wolverhampton on its national tour

00:00I'm here at the Little Lorry on Victoria Square in Walthamstow today with some of the ladies who have come in and actually got themselves boxes.

00:07So first of all, what's your name?

00:09Lauren McKinnon.

00:11And what brought you down here today? Were you just interested in that?

00:14Yeah, it's like a little joke but I'm obsessed with the freeway coat.

00:19So yeah, I actually live in Worcester and my friend lives in Swindon so we've come up to visit our friend at the same time.

00:27So you've obviously seen the Coca-Cola lorry in the past, how does that compare?

00:31Oh, it's nothing compared to the freeway coat.

00:34But this is the top of your list basically?

00:36Yeah, this is the highlight of my Christmas.

00:40Is it the highlight of your Christmas?

00:42Yeah, sure. Definitely.

00:45So yeah, what's your name? What brought you down here today?

00:47It's Hannah and it was basically Lauren. She said I'm coming to your house to go and do this.

00:53So Lauren was like the sort of person who said that?

00:55Yeah, yeah. Come along, so we did.

00:57Have you had a chance to have a look inside yet?

00:59No, not yet.

01:00Have they told you what to expect from it?

01:02Yeah, they said that it's gifts from the middle of Middletown and a chance to win a box as well.

01:09Wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?

01:11No, it'd be nice.

01:12And what's your name and what are you doing today?

01:14I'm Linda and Lauren brought me down, well up from Swindon.

01:18You've only just got this little house?

01:21We're pretending we're visiting Hannah and Lauren.

01:26What do you think of the whole idea of giving away gifts that we haven't been doing?

01:30I think it's nice. This year's been hard for everyone.

01:33So just being here for a couple of hours, it's been fine.

01:40And a £100 voucher for them as well?

01:42That's fantastic.

01:44One of us will like it.

01:46The most important thing to remember, it's Christmas.
