00:00She would check on Austin all the time.

00:13When Austin was born, she just went straight into mothering mode.

00:21Had to be around the baby. What's the baby doing?

00:24Gently licking his head. Be up with him in the middle of the night.

00:29She's a mama to all of us, isn't she? She takes care of us.

00:32She's the best dog I've ever had.

00:39First thing that I noticed was she was being really slow to eat when she normally inhales her food.

00:45Her snout was swollen up, her neck.

00:53He said, I'm very confident that this is lymphoma, unfortunately.

00:57It was like I got hit by a ton of bricks.

01:09With lymphoma, the only chance that you have is chemo to extend their life.

01:15We said we were going to figure out whatever we needed to do to make it work.

01:36The burden has been eased by these amazing organizations that otherwise I don't know would have been possible for us.

01:45It started giving me a little bit more hope that everything was going to be okay.

01:54After several treatments, I could physically feel her lymph nodes gone completely down.

02:01Her eyes cleared up, her face cleared up.

02:04She started getting energetic again, initiating play with Tiger, which she hadn't played with him in several months.

02:16When Eamon was born, we brought him home from the hospital.

02:20Kendall, just as expected, was right next to him, licking him, sniffing him.

02:35When we got Kendall's diagnosis and it became a very real thing,

02:40I wanted to do everything that I can to capture this time in our lives where she's happy, she's thriving,

02:48because I don't want either of the boys to have sad memories of her.

02:52I want them to remember the mama dog that was with them through everything, that slept in their beds with them.

02:59Our dogs both are just such a part of our family.
