When you become obsessed with a Moroccan cat rescue on social media.... you travel to Morocco to adopt a cat! Kendra told us how her trip to adopt one cat ended up spiraling into something bigger... ❤️

00:01You're a lucky man, huh?

00:06I saw Yacine's Dodo video.

00:09I admired his rescue.

00:12So I started following him on social media.

00:25He had an issue with his eyes.

00:30He's my boy Tom.

00:36Yeah, beautiful cat.

00:38He's asking me who's going to adopt me.

00:40Yeah, right.

00:41I had always wanted to visit Morocco.

00:55We were thinking about getting a second cat.

01:02So I messaged Yacine and said I was interested in coming to help save a cat.

01:07Yacine was very warm and welcoming.

01:11He invited us into his house.

01:14I had seen Tom and he's a very good looking cat.

01:18He wasn't very sociable at first.

01:25Surprisingly, he started to be very warm, affectionate, and really wanted lots of love.

01:38So I said that this cat needs to come back to the U.S.

01:42My body is purring.

01:46I'm going to miss you, buddy.

01:49We're ready to travel.

01:57It took all day to be able to go to the vet and have the vet sign off on a health certificate and fill all that paperwork out.

02:04It was a little nerve wracking.

02:06Wondering what their experience is going to be.

02:09Are they going to be okay?

02:10Are they even going to show up in Miami?

02:13Well, everyone made it to Miami.

02:18Welcome to the United States.

02:21Once we arrived in Miami, they did bring the cat and they seemed fine.

02:26It was all okay.

02:42You want to see his life now?

02:47He hangs out on this gigantic bean bag.

02:50He loves to eat.

02:51He loves to chase lizards, which he gets to do here in Florida.

02:55I adore Tom.

03:08So many people said, well, we have cats here you can rescue.

03:11Why not just rescue a cat here?

03:13But they don't have any rescues in that country.

03:17They don't have government help, non-profits that help support rescuing cats and getting them adopted.

03:26Except, thankfully, good individuals like Yasin.
